Your upgrade, step by step
We make energy upgrades simple. Here's how the Victorian Energy Upgrades program works, how your discount is applied, and exactly what happens from your first enquiry to your first lower bill.
What is Victorian Energy Upgrades?
Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) is a Victorian Government program that helps households and businesses reduce their energy use and bills. It makes energy-efficient products more affordable by offering discounts on eligible upgrades.
Discounts are delivered by accredited providers approved by the program regulator. When an eligible upgrade is completed, the accredited provider creates energy efficiency certificates and passes the value on to you as a discount.
The program also includes strong consumer protections, including a code of conduct that applies to accredited providers and everyone working on their behalf.
Where we fit in
Sahajanand Eco is an installation business. We assess your property, supply and install your new system, and remove your old one.
We are not a VEU accredited provider ourselves. Where a discount applies, it's offered through a VEU accredited provider we work with. You'll see that provider's name on your quote and paperwork, and they may contact you to confirm your upgrade.
That means you get one point of contact for your install, with the discount handled properly under the program rules.
